Description

Astronomy, as an accessible and inspiring science, plays a key role in promoting education and development in Morocco. Through diverse engagements, including active participation in NOC Morocco (National Outreach Coordinator),NAEC (National Astronomy Education Coordinator), the African Science Star, and the Les Étoiles du Petit Prince initiative, a wide range of activities has been implemented to democratize access to science and popularize astronomical concepts.

The initiatives include public stargazing events, simplified scientific conferences to highlight modern scientific challenges, and practical, interactive workshops tailored for young people and rural communities. These efforts aim not only to spark scientific curiosity but also to reduce inequalities in educational access in marginalized areas.

Particular emphasis is placed on collaboration with local and international institutions, such as universities, scientific associations, and initiatives for dark sky preservation. These partnerships enable the integration of innovative educational programs, such as the creation of pedagogical models and participation in international astronomy events.
