Description
Radio galaxies influence kpc and Mpc scale properties of their surrounding ambient media via jet interactions, and are influenced by the surrounding medium in turn. Using the MeerKAT telescope whose high sensitivity allows us to detect diffuse radio emission, helps us better constrain their morphologies. Ancillary optical and X-ray data provide information about the surroundings of these radio galaxies; together allowing us to determine the interplay between the radio structures and the Cosmic Web. In my talk I will present several such cases which help us estimate properties of the Cosmic Web even when it is invisible to direct observations.
