Description
The analysis of stellar surface oscillations provides a unique window into their internal structures and allows for a precise determination of their fundamental properties, mainly radius, mass, and age. Among these properties, age estimation remains a cornerstone for understanding stellar evolution and galactic dynamics. However, robust determination of stellar ages poses greater challenges since it is a highly model dependent parameter. Using an ensemble of benchmark solar-type stars, we determine robust stellar ages by selecting models which better represent the core properties of each star.
