Arriving at the campus
Ask your driver to use the Observatory Road entrance and follow security staff’s directions on arrival. Allow extra time for entry and reaching the meeting venue. If unsure, confirm the symposium venue, arrival instructions, parking and drop-off arrangements by emailing info@astro4dev.org before travelling.
Planning your stay
Look first at accommodation in Observatory, Mowbray and Pinelands for convenient access to SAAO. Plan your daily journey to the campus entrance, rather than judging proximity by a straight-line map distance. Roads, rivers and campus boundaries can make routes longer than they appear.
