Are you ready to innovate and tackle astronomical challenges using data science? As part of the 2026 African Astronomical Society (AfAS) Annual Conference. We are excited to host the 2026 AfAS Student Hackathon, which will offer participants a unique opportunity to work on real-world astronomy and data-driven challenges.
This three-day hackathon will run ahead of the AfAS Conference and will provide an immersive experience into the full pipeline of problem solving, from concept to implementation.
