1.Power

 

 

 

2. Poster presentations

*Any and all requests for changes to your contribution (title, speakers, mode of presentation etc) should be submitted here.*

 

Your poster should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Format: pdf is highly preferred
  •  
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9 on a 40 inch screen, width: 88.55 cm & height: 49.81 cm
  • Resolution of the screen: Full HD
  • Layout: Landscape

The layout of your poster for optimal display.

  • Name the file as follows: AbstractNumber_Firstname_Surname.pdf     
    e.g 123_Isaac_Newton.pdf     
    (if you don’t know your abstract number, please obtain it from the Contribution List: it is the number next to the title of your poster)
  • By clicking your abstract in the Contribution List you can scroll down to “Presentation Material" where you can upload your poster.    
    *Please ensure you are logged into the conference website*   
     
  • Your 30 minute poster presentation slot has been allocated: see the Contribution List for your exact date and time. Please be available to interact with participants during the full 30 minutes.
  • *Any and all requests for changes to your contribution’s details should be submitted here.
  • Please upload your poster 24 hours in advance to your scheduled session.    

     
  • If you have multiple contributions, please make sure you upload the correct material to the correct abstract​.     

     
  • Please ensure your file is correctly named!

The links will be communicated to you in due course.  Please check back at least the day before your presentation.

 

3. Timetable

The full timetable is available hereNote that there are two levels to each session in the AfAS timetable: Overview and DetailedOverview is the default view of the timetable.  The Detailed View can be accessed by clicking on "Detailed View" underneath the different day tabs on the Timetable page.

 

4. Speakers

For the scheduled details of your talk, please see the Contribution List

There you will find

  • Date and time of your talk
  • Duration
    • Contributions: 15 minutes (10 min + 5 minutes for questions)
    • Plenaries: 30 minutes (25 min + 5 minutes for questions)
  • The title and abstract
  • Name of the speaker
